McLaren 675LT is Sold Out

The McLaren 675LT is already all sold out.

The British automaker confirmed to Autoblog that all 500 units of the McLaren 675LT, which debuted at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, are spoken for. The more hardcore variant of the 650S is powered by McLaren’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 666 hp, accelerating to 62 mph from a standstill in under three seconds while having a top speed of 205 mph. According to company spokesman, Wayne Bruce, around half the buyers of the 675LT “are new to the brand,” while the other half are existing McLaren owners.

As the most lightweight model in McLaren’s Super Series lineup, the 675LT is setup for track use with a wider front and rear track, stiffer and lighter springs as well as improved aerodynamics. Weighing in at 2,711 lbs, the McLaren 675LT is 220 lbs lighter than the standard 650S.
