The new MINI Clubman has been teased.

Expected to make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, MINI has released a website focused on the new Clubman along with the teaser image seen above.

The unveiling won’t be a huge surprise considering the British automaker has been spied testing the new model and offered a preview of the Clubman with a concept at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Compared to its predecessor, the next-generation Clubman will be longer and more versatile in order to widen the gap between the five-door MINI Hardtop.

When the production model debuts, the Clubman will likely feature a front-hinged rear door setup while keeping the split rear cargo doors from the current model. All in all, the new Clubman will look more like a traditional wagon while carrying all the trademark design features that MINI has been known for over the years.

The MINI Clubman concept measured 26 cm longer and about 16 cm wider than the current Clubman, making it one of the largest MINI models ever created.
