Watch Bentley Bentayga Go Off-Roading in New Video
Bentley wants to make sure its upcoming Bentayga SUV is off-road capable.
Over the past few months, the British automaker has slowly released more information on its SUV model and now there’s a video of the prototype showing off its off-road prowess. According to Bentley, the testing took place at an off-road facility in Northern Spain and the video showcases the model’s all-wheel drive capability and even a skid plate underneath the vehicle. Although the Bentley Bentayga won’t officially go on sale until next year, it has been spied testing all over the world, including the Nurburgring and hot weather testing in Dubai.

As the automaker’s first SUV, the Bentayga will add several variants after it goes on sale, including a diesel V8 model and a plug-in hybrid like in 2017. The company hopes to sell around 20,000 units annually by 2020 and is reportedly considering a smaller crossover model to join the Bentayga in the lineup.
