An Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Limited Edition model is being teased.

This year, the Italian automaker is celebrating 50 years since the launch of the original “Spider” roadster with a limited edition 4C Spider. Although details on the model itself are being kept under wraps, Alfa Romeo did release a teaser video that shows the 50th anniversary 4C Spider model will pay homage to its vintage predecessor by comparing certain elements with the 1966 Duetto Spider originally designed by Pininfarina.

It is difficult to tell what changes will be made compared to the standard Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, but it does appear that the model will retain a more traditionally designed wheel. The company claims that the new car “pays tribute to one of the most quintessential Alfa Romeo models in a very special way.” Expect the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Limited Edition to be revealed in a couple of weeks and check back then for a full report.
