The Bentley Continental GT Convertible, known as the GTC, has been spied testing once again.

This model takes its inspiration from the EXP10 Speed 6 Concept, which brings along sportier styling then we’re used to seeing from the British luxury automaker. Spied here is the convertible version testing in Germany, and just like the other prototypes we’ve seen, this one is covered in plastic body cladding to hide the design details. A soft-top roof is visible though and it is expected to stick around for the production model.

The new Continental GT is based on the MSB platform which is shared with the all-new Porsche Panamera. This will allow Bentley to save some money by using Porsche’s hybrid drivetrain, though a 600-horsepower Bentley V12 is expected to be offered as well. A 4.0-liter V8 will likely act as the base engine.

The new Bentley Continental GT is expected to debut sometime in late 2017, so it seems we still have some time to wait to see the true styling of this luxury sports car.
