Cadillac is previewing the future of its design.

Making its debut at the 2016 Monterey Car Week, the Cadillac Escala Concept previews the next evolution of Cadillac design, while showcasing the craftsmanship and technology currently being developed for future models. Serving as a concept for a larger, more elite companion to the Cadillac CT6, the American automaker said the Escala Concept is designed to be both a driver’s car and an indulgent flagship sedan with a liftback design to emphasize the car’s versatility and scale. The concept is about six inches longer than the existing CT6, measuring 210.5 inches in length.

2016 Monterey Car Week Coverage

Expect the Escala Concept to not only preview the design language of future Cadillac models, but also a new flagship sedan that is poised to sit above the CT6 in the automaker’s range.
