This might be the best-looking convertible ever created.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster is the company’s most complicated project ever and began in 2010 with the basic idea of removing the top and adding conventional doors. The Italian exotic automaker says it scrapped the design three years later and started from the beginning of the design process, calling the Huayra Roadster a completely new project. What’s most impressive about the Huayra Roadster is that it actually weighs less than its coupe counterpart, which is hardly ever the case for convertible models.

2017 Geneva Motor Show Coverage

With a dry weight of 2,822 pounds (1,280 kilograms), the Huayra Roadster is about 176 lbs (80 kg) lighter than the coupe, an impressive feat by Pagani. Power comes from a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 engine with 764 horsepower, mated to the same seven-speed, single-clutch gearbox used in the Huayra BC.

The convertible exotic will be limited to just 100 units, but it’s already sold out despite it’s $2.4-million price tag.
