Seinfeld's Lotus Exige Exceeds Expectations at Auction

The bright green 2009 Lotus Exige S260 sold for $90,400.

Prior to crossing the Dan Krusse Classics auction block, it was estimated the Lotus Exige S260 would fetch between $65,000 and $75,000, so the final sale price came as a surprise. Even more so considering the seller isn’t Jerry Seinfeld himself, who originally sold the car in 2012. The upper estimate for the sale price is in line with how much the car sold for new in 2009, so it proves a vehicle previously owned by a celebrity is worth quite a bit.
