Bentley today announced the new Flying Spur Design series – a limited-edition version of the Continental-based sedan that pays extra close attention to the fine details.

The Design Series package will be available across the four-car Flying Spur range, offered on the V8 and W12 and the V8 S and W12 S. The exterior changes are comprised of new front bumper paint detail that extends along the side of the car to the rear bumper, which is joined by door-sill mounted ‘Welcome Lamps’ that flash ‘Mulliner’ at night – the name of Bentley’s personalizations division.

The sportier V8 S and W12 S models get some unique content in the way of a different front bumper, while the W12 S also receives black exterior brightwork and 21-inch Directional Sports Wheels finished in Gloss Black. The V8 S gets its own wheels as well – 21-inch twin-spoke units with black machined faces.

Like many other Bentleys, the cabin received the majority of the attention. Mulliner applied three-tone perforated leather upholstery, which is set off with contrasting bold color accents and Piano Black console trim. A colored 12 o’clock stripe is featured on the steering wheel, while Titanium enriched carbon fiber adorns the dash – the first ever automotive application of the high-end, lightweight material.

Pricing for the Bentley Flying Spur Design Series has yet to be announced. Production will be limited to just 100 units.
