The internet’s favorite ill-tempered feline is surely Grumpy Cat, but the perpetually crabby kitty may have a new rival in the way of Pompous Albert.

While nowhere near as famous as Grumpy Cat, whose real name is Tardar Sauce, Pompous Albert is on the come-up. He recently starred in a Honda commercial for the Japanese automaker’s Authorized Service Center in which we learned he hates 1980’s themed parties, yoga, and lackluster mechanics. Truth be told, it doesn’t seem as though Pompous Albert likes much at all. Save for Honda’s Authorized Service Center, of course.

We were entirely unaware of Pompous Albert’s existence before seeing this ad. Turns out this somewhat mangy house cat has quite the online following, boasting over 100,000 followers on Instagram. They could’ve fooled us – upon our first viewing, we thought Albert was a stuffed prop. He’s a real cat, though, and with a scowl that would put even Grumpy Cat’s to shame, we doubt this is the last we’ll hear from him.
