The first Honda Civic Type R in the U.S. has sold for $200,000, but luckily the money will go to charity.

Bidding for the first production 2017 Honda Civic Type R started last week on Bring a Trailer, and the sports car sold for a whopping $200,000. The vehicle was donated by Honda, so all the proceeds will go to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Now that the auction has ended, the first Civic Type R will be shipped to a participating U.S. Honda dealer for the new owner to pick up.

Considering the car starts for under $35,000 including destination, it’s an impressive feat for the Civic Type R to fetch $200,000. Still, it pales in comparison to the $550,000 the first Focus RS sold for at a Barrett-Jackson auction.
