A 32-year old Seattle man was arrested Sunday night after purposely ramming his Honda into a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley and causing more than $500,000 in damage.

Bellevue Police in Washington responded to a call at Bellevue Bentley Sunday night and came upon a man repeatedly and purposefully ramming his car into a Bentley Continental and Rolls-Royce Wraith. The officers detained the suspect, who told them he had not slept in about three days and may be having a panic attack.

The dealer estimates more than $500,000 in damage was done between the two cars and both will likely be a total loss. That’s unsurprising, seeing as a bit of body damage is enough to rack up a six-figure repair bill in many new high-end vehicles.

Police placed the suspect under arrest for 1st degree malicious mischief and booked him into jail. It’s unclear what spurred him to begin ramming his Honda into the luxury cars, but perhaps he became jealous of the opulence whilst driving by in his black Honda. We can’t say we’d blame him, though this is quite the extreme response to a bit of envy.
