Bentley is Unveiling an 'Exciting New Model' Soon

Along with the new Bentayga V8 and the Continental GT, Bentley is promising to introduce an “exciting new model” at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

It’s currently unclear what that new model could be, but it’s likely the Continental GTC as it has recently been spied testing wearing very little camouflage. Another possibility is the new Flying Spur, although recent spy photos showed it is still wearing heavy camo, and Mulliner is presenting a current-generation Flying Spur at the show.

Interestingly, in Bentley’s release announcing the exciting new model, it makes no mention of the Bentayga plug-in hybrid, which is widely believed to debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Needless to say, it would be a bit disappointing if the Bentayga PHEV is what the company is calling an exciting new model.

What has been confirmed to be on display in Geneva is the Bentley Bentayga V8, which makes its global debut. The company is also bringing a pair of Continental GTs, while Bentley’s personal commission division, Mulliner, will showcase a unique Flying Spur with two new and exciting interior finishes.

Then again, Bentley could have a completely new — and actually exciting — surprise up its sleeves. It did use the Geneva Motor Show in 2015 to present the stunning EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept.
