The 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman trim level has been shown for the first time by Fiat Chrysler today.

The new Ram 1500 Tradesman will be available in both Quad Cab and Crew Cab configurations, and with either a short 5 foot, 7-inch bed or a longer 6 foot, 4-inch bed. Just like in the regular truck, the base engine will be FCA’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with the 48V eTorque system, while the 5.4-liter HEMI V8 (offered both with and without eTorque) is available as an option. Both 4×2 and 4×4 models are offered as well, and all versions will feature an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The pickup will feature a standard Class III trailer hitch and lighted four- and seven-pin trailer wire connectors as standard, along with a 120-amp alternator, a 730-amp battery, a 12v outlet, a rear-view camera, halogen headlamps, power doors and windows and remote keyless entry. FCA’s 5.0-inch UConnect screen is also standard and is joined by three USB ports one and an audio auxiliary port.

The 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman will start at $33,340 including $1,645 in destination. Included in the price is a five-year 60,000-mile powertrain warranty – especially important for fleet operators.
