The 2018 Ford F-150 was named AutoGuide.com‘s Truck of the Year, and we were able to catch up with the American automaker at the New York Auto Show and hand them the trophy.

Chad Callander, Ford’s truck marketing manager, was on hand to receive the award. He’s pictured above with Jodi Lai, AutoGuide.com‘s Editor-in-Chief.

“We’re honored that F-150 was named AutoGuide.com‘s 2018 Truck of the Year,” Callander said. “This reinforces our commitment to our customers to provide a truck that’s even tougher, even smarter, and even more capable for work and play.”

For AutoGuide.com‘s annual awards, we look for vehicles that have gone above and beyond the segment norm to create a new benchmark. The F-150’s mix of capability and smart technology helped it pull ahead of its competition and AutoGuide.com editors were impressed by its user-friendliness, attention to detail, and well thought-out packaging.

Congratulations, Ford.
