California-based tuner Hondata has released its FlashPro kit for the Honda Civic Type R.

Priced at $695, the FlashPro includes a range of base maps that improve the performance of the Civic Type R without having to do any real extensive modifications. As usual, the company tuned everything on a dyno, with the 91-octane tune adding 33 horsepower and 39 pound-feet of torque to the hatch. Those that can take advantage of 93 octane will see a boost of 47 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque to performance.
