Tuning Company to Turn Jaguar F-Pace SVR Into World's Fastest SUV

With a top speed of 187 mph, the W12 Bentley Bentayga is currently the fastest production SUV in the world.

Lister, a British tuning company and former racecar manufacturer, is hoping to beat the Bentayga’s top speed with its tuned F-Pace SVR. The modified SUV won’t qualify as a production vehicle, meaning the Bentayga will keep its record, but at the very least, Lister will prove that you don’t need twelve-cylinders and twin-turbochargers to go fast in an SUV.

Details on the Lister F-Pace SVR have yet to be shared, with the company tweeting out a teaser image of the SUV with no accompanying information. All we know is that it will be based on the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 powered F-Pace SVR and will be the fastest SUV you can buy.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR-based Lister Thunder probably gives us an idea of what to expect from the Lister F-Pace SVR. That car makes 666 hp from its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 – up from 575 hp in the standard version of the two-door. Lister claims it will do 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 208 mph.

We’re expecting a similar power boost for the 550hp F-Pace SVR, along with a near-200 mph top speed.

Let’s see what Lister can deliver.
