The Lanzante McLaren P1 GT has been introduced at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Inspired by the iconic 1997 McLaren F1 GT Longtail, the Lanzante McLaren P1 GT is the company’s latest creation following the P1 LM. The special project is based on the P1 GTR and was commissioned by an avid McLaren fan in the Middle East. Several modifications were done to the supercar along with the longtail bodywork, including an updated front end, vented fenders, and a massive fixed rear spoiler.

Lanzante hasn’t revealed full details on its P1 GT project, so it’s unclear if the company tweaked the P1 GTR’s 3.8-liter biturbo V8 hybrid powertrain. It’s possible the company did borrow some components from the P1 LM, shedding some weight on the P1 GT.

Expect more details on the Lanzante P1 GT in the coming days as it will be taking on the Goodwood Hill Climb.
