The Fiat 124 Spider has received a number of updates and new optional extras for the 2019 model year.

For sports car fans, the most important new option on the 124 Spider will be the new Record Monza Exhaust for Abarth models. The $995 dual-mode exhaust is even louder and more aggressive than the Abarth’s already shouty exhaust system and will also improve the look of the Italian convertible thanks to its stainless steel finish and neatly integrated appearance, the automaker says.

Also new for 2019 124 Spider Abarth modes is the Veleno Appearance Group. The package includes red exterior mirror caps, a red lower fascia lip and a red front tow hook. The interior also gets minor upgrades in the way of Abarth-branded floor mats and a stainless footrest. It will add $495 to the price of 124 Abarth Spiders.

As for non-Abarth models, they get new custom center stripe options including a white or red ‘Double Rally Stripe’ or a multi-colored ‘Retro Stripe’ that’s available in either white/gray or red/gray. Entry-level 2019 Fiat 124 Spider Classica models will start at $24,995 MSRP, while a step up to the mid-range Lusso trim will raise the price to $27,795. The range-topping 124 Spider Abarth comes in at $30,000 before optional extras.

Look for the 2019 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth to begin arriving at dealers shortly.
