The 2019 Honda Civic Si has been refreshed with some upgrades including new colors, a tweaked interior, and some enhanced tech.

Funny enough, one of the upgrades we got unreasonably excited about was the addition of a volume knob and physical buttons for the infotainment system, which up until now, had touch capacitive buttons we hated using. Honda also says pairing a smartphone via Bluetooth should be easier, the cupholders are bigger, the steering wheel controls and electronic parking brake switch have been made more intuitive, and it also gains physical buttons for the fan speed controls.

The new colors are called Platinum White Pearl (weirdly no photo of this new color was released, but it’s white, so you probably know what to expect) and an excellent shade of yellow called Tonic Yellow Pearl. Hot Take: There needs to be more yellow cars on the roads. Summer tires will no longer be offered from the factory, but can still be bought as a dealer-installed option.

As always, the Civic Si is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder with 205 horsepower and is available only with an excellent six-speed manual transmission.

The 2019 Honda Civic Si is available as a coupe or sedan and will arrive at dealers in the U.S. on Nov. 1. Pricing for the Si Coupe starts at $25,195, while the Si Sedan starts at $25,195 (all pricing includes the $895 destination fee). The engine is built in Ohio and the cars are made in Ontario, Canada.
