This will be Buick’s first offering of Super Cruise, GM’s excellent hands-free highway driving assist.

Buick on Tuesday morning revealed our first look at the revised 2024 Envision. The middle child in a five-model offensive for this year—we’ve already seen the facelifted 2024 Encore GX and new 2024 Envista—the Envision shows off revised styling inside and out, plus Buick’s first Super Cruise application.

The exterior changes focus on the front of the compact SUV. At least, that’s what we can see so far, as Buick released a sole teaser. The new nose brings Envision in line with the rest of the family, swapping in thin LED headlights and a large grille set below them. The brand’s revised logo now sits on the redesigned hood, as well. Buick’s Wildcat EV concept provides the inspiration, and here in Avenir trim, there are liberal lashings of chrome all around. A new 20-inch alloy wheel design is also clearly visible.

Buick isn’t giving away much inside the revised model, except for one obvious bit: Super Cruise. The excellent hands-free driving assist will final debut in a Buick with the ’24 Envision, and will now be compatible with over 400,000 miles (643,738 km) of pre-mapped roads. The redesigned steering wheel houses the Super Cruise LED bar. Look just behind that and you’ll find a wing-shaped digital instrument panel, which we expect will look very similar to the one-piece unit in the Encore GX. This suggests an entirely redesigned dashboard, though from this teaser, we see the same door panel design as before.

This is the third of five new or refreshed models the American brand will debut this year. Buick is on an upwards trend, with overall sales up by 76 percent so far in 2023. According to the brand, the Envision itself is on track for its best-ever sales year. The 2024 model will be available early next year, but expect more details before that.
