Aston Martin vehicles are getting more exclusive by the day.

As expected, Aston Martin has replaced its outgoing Virage model with a new-generation DB9. The 2013 Aston Martin DB9 will feature an updated 6.0-liter V12 engine with 510-hp and 457 lb-ft of torque.

After a mere 18 months on the market, the Aston Martin Virage has officially gotten the axe and will be replaced by the next-generation DB9 model.

Aston Martin has just established its first foothold in India, with its first showroom in Mumbai. The showroom will be managed in partnership with Infinity Cars Pvt. Ltd., a well known local distributor, with a location in a swanky district of Mumbai known as Kemps Corner.

Caught on display a day ahead of its official reveal at the Geneva Auto Show, you might need to take a second look to realize this is in fact an all-new Aston Martin. Called the Virage, it’s remarkable similar to the DB9 and DBS, which comes as little surprise as it sits between the two models.

The global economy must be back on track, because Aston Martin has just released a new model in what seems like an already crowded segment. Likely in response to a growing threat from Bentley, the new Virage slots in Aston’s lineup between the DB9 and the ultra-exotic DBS.
