The first day of the 2016 SEMA Show is just getting started, and among the lifted brodozers and crystal-encrusted engines, there lies an actual gem, this gorgeous RWB Porsche 911 dressed in Martini Racing livery.

The 2014 SEMA Show marked the start of a new tuning trend and at this year’s aftermarket car parts expo the fad is in full swing.

The Tokyo Auto Salon isn’t just about Japanese cars. On the contrary, there’s a large selection of European models, especially thanks to the growing trend for RAUH-Welt Begriff modified Porsches.

Toyota‘s upcoming GT 86 hasn’t even gotten in the hands of the consumers yet, and already some interesting tuning options are being dreamed up. We’ll be receiving Scion‘s FR-S as America’s offering from Toyota, and already impressed with how it performs stock (read our review here), we can’t even imagine what the aftermarket will be able to do with it.

For those who are paying close attention to the aftermarket industry, this years SEMA Show might always be remembered as the year RAUH-Welt became a household name. Well, maybe just among car nuts.

Unveiled ahead of its official debut at the 2011 SEMA Show is this very custom Rauh-Welt Porsche 965. The wide fendered, deep dish wheeled, humongously spoilered tuner Porsche is the property of former 0-60 editor Brian Scotto. Recenty Scotto made the switch to work with motorsports personality Ken Block and now runs Block’s “Hoonigan” brand.

***UPDATE*** AutoGuide.com has been contacted by former “0-60 Magazine” Editor and Brand Director for Ken Block’s new brand “ Hoonigan“, Brian Scotto, who has informed us that the car does not in fact belong to Ken Block. There is, however, a connection, with the actual owner being none-other than Scotto himself, who does plan to show the vehicle at SEMA to promote the new Hoonigan brand. Stay tuned for info on the car and more details on “Hoonigan.”

Jon Sibal is one of the premier automotive digital artists out there, and from time to time he likes to have a little bit of fun with Photoshop making some awesome micro car renders. This time around, Sibal stuck to a theme of Rauh Welt-built cars. Rauh Welt Begriff, RWB, is a Porsche tuner located in Japan and loves to combine both Japanese and Euro tuning elements, creating some of the most distinct-looking Porsches in the world.
