Fiat has teased its upcoming crossover model in an interesting new video.

Set to debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show, the Fiat 500X will be a compact crossover based on the same platform as the 500L and the new Jeep Renegade. The model is expected to launch in the U.S. next year around the same time it’ll arrive dealerships in Europe.

Expect the Fiat 500X to feature styling similar to the 500L which we can see in the teaser video, revealing a sloping windshield, curved roof, wide front grille opening and circular headlights. Compared to the compact 500L sedan, the 500X will have a higher ride height and feature a more off-road-ready stance.
