Our annual truck of the year testing is happening this week, but that doesn’t mean all we have are trucks. See what other cars w’ere testing this week.

2015 Subaru Impreza – Mike Schlee, Road Test Editor:

“Mid-week I will be travelling to the Rocky Mountains to put the revised 2015 Subaru Impreza to the test. The exterior has been revised and the interior overhauled to make it more class competitive, but is it enough?”

2015 VW Golf:

“We will be putting out general consumer reviewer behind the new Volkswagen Golf 1.8T five-door hatchback this week. How will she find this compact German hatchback?”

2015 Mercedes-Benz C400 – Luke Vandezande, Managing Editor:

“This week I am driving the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class: the C400 4Matic. I still haven’t spent any time in the W205 and I’m especially excited to drive the new turbo V6 powertrain.” Tweet at Luke with questions about the car.

2015 Truck of the Year Testing – Stephen Elmer, News Editor:

“This week, we are gathering the troops to determine the AutoGuide.com 2015 Truck of the Year. Rather than stage a head-to-head competition, we have gathered trucks that are brand new or significantly updated for 2015. Competing are the 2015 Ford F-150, GMC Canyon, GMC Sierra 3500HD and the Ram 2500 Power Wagon. We’ll be working them with trailers and running them off road to see which one is most up to the task. Be sure to watch Twitter and Instagram for updates”

2015 Ram Power WagonCraig Cole, Associate Editor:

“This week I’m sampling the Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I’ll be taking it on a nice, long road trip to the northern wilderness for AutoGuide.com’s 2015 Truck of the Year competition. This rig is equipped with tubular steel rock rails, copious underbody skid plates, rugged live axles, impressive approach and departure angles plus a Hemi V8 engine.”
