Ferrari has seen the new Lamborghini Huracan and is about to fire back.

The Italian automaker has released a short teaser video of what is believed to be a mid-cycle update to its popular 458 sports car. The new version, like the California before it, is expected to trade out its naturally aspired V8 engine for a turbocharged one.

The teaser video doesn’t show much of the new car, though the tachometer gives a hint at the new forced induction engine. The current 458 has a redline of 9000 rpm, though this car clearly shows it 1000 rpm lower. As a rule, turbocharged cars have lower peak power output levels than naturally aspirated ones.

The current 458 makes 570 hp from its 4.5-liter V8 engine so look for the new model to make north of 600-hp. When the California made its transition to the use of turbos it gained a 15 percent bump in power.

Watch the teaser video below. Or more importantly, listen to it!

The important question is: will the current 458 drop in value now?
