It looks like the next-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom won’t get too many dramatic changes in the styling department.

Spy photographers have caught the new 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom testing and have managed to grab some photos of the interior. The next-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom will focus on shedding weight, as it rides on an all-new aluminum space-frame architecture that the British automaker has been bragging about. The new platform will also underpin the upcoming Rolls-Royce SUV as well as future new models.

Although the outside doesn’t show too much with all the camouflage concealing the prototype, it’s evident that the Phantom won’t undergo any drastic changes to its styling. But major changes are, however, happening inside the cabin, as spy photographers managed to capture an all-digital dash. There are very few classic dials to be seen and some would say it looks a bit like the new Mercedes-Benz S- and E-Class models.

Under the hood, you can expect to see a powerful V12 engine when it makes its debut next year.

The current Rolls-Royce Phantom is taking a bow with a special Zenith Collection model, filled with high-end luxury bespoke accessories.
