The Volkswagen I.D. crossover concept will make its debut at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show.

The German automaker has released some teaser images for the upcoming concept that will boast all-wheel drive and self-driving features. The concept car is Volkswagen’s first all-electric crossover and will feature coupe-like styling. It will also be the third I.D. concept from the brand, after unveiling the original I.D. at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and the I.D. Buzz in Detroit earlier this year.

Volkswagen is trying to move past its massive dieselgate scandal by ushering in a new era of all-electric vehicles. The company looks to integrate self-driving features in all of the I.D. production models. Like the other I.D. concepts, the crossover can drive fully autonomously and has a steering wheel that will electrically retract into the cockpit. Expect a suite of laser scanners, ultrasonic and radar sensors as well as cameras to allow the electric vehicle to recognize its surroundings.
