Alfa Romeo released a photo on its Facebook page wishing all of its fans a happy new year, along with the promise that “the car to end all cars is nigh,” referring to the new 4C which will debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.

Included in the greeting is a picture of a wheel which looks like the ones shown off on the 4C concept, suggesting that when the production version bows, it will stay true to the concept car we have already seen.

The 4C is a lightweight sports car that runs with a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, said to make around 300 hp, though some reports have it pegged around 250 hp. Weight will be just 1,980 lbs. thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminium.
