The Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is reportedly debuting at this year’s Pebble Beach week of festivities, but not to the general public.

According to 4WheelsNews, the Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider will be shown at this year’s Concours d’Elegance at a private event. The site reports that some dealerships are already taking orders on the drop-top exotic. Likely to be produced in limited quantity, the Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is expected to use the same 4.5-liter V8 engine found in the coupe variant with 605 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.

The model will also likely become the Italian automaker’s fastest production convertible considering the coupe goes 0-62 in just three seconds flat. Ferrari is expected to begin showing the car in public later this year during the Paris Motor Show in early October.
