Buick Envision Rumored to Reach US in 2015

Buick’s latest crossover is reportedly heading to the U.S. next year.

The Buick Envision, which debuted for the China market earlier this year, is expected to join the American automaker’s lineup in the third quarter of 2015 according to a report by Edmunds.com. The compact crossover will be offered with mild hybrid technology that will turn the engine off when it is coasting, braking or stopped, while quickly restarting when the gas pedal is pushed.

While the American automaker won’t confirm that the Envision is heading to the U.S., vice-president of Buick- GMC sales Duncan Aldred did say that the model would fit into “a big segment in the U.S.” It’s no secret that the crossover market outpacing overall market growth and the Envision would be another premium offering that would slot nicely into the company’s lineup.
