The 2017 Porsche Panamera is getting closer to making its official debut.

Spy photographers have already caught the 2017 Porsche Panamera testing multiple times as the German automaker readies the next-generation sedan, which rides on an all-new chassis. This time around, spy photographers caught the Panamera doing some last-minute hot-weather testing in Southern Europe with nearly all of its camouflage removed. Decals concealing the new headlights and tail lights are still being used, but now we can see that the Panamera won’t undergo any major changes for its next generation.

With the new platform, the Panamera is expected to shed around 200 pounds, which will also help make the sedan more agile. Rumor has it that Porsche developed the Panamera to do a quicker lap around the Nurburgring than the old Carrera GT.

The front end is highly influenced by the Panamera Sport Turismo concept car from 2012, and while it doesn’t sport the same shooting brake styling, a Panamera wagon has been confirmed to be in development and will head to the U.S.

Expect to see the 2017 Porsche Panamera make its public auto show debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October. But given that Porsche is out and about testing without much secrecy, the company will likely release information and photos prior to the event.

That's a remarkable improvement to my eyes. I'm sure Porsche is very upset at this sudden set of unauthorized photographs. ;)
