McLaren’s lineup of performance cars is about to get even more extreme with the debut of the new 675LT.

Slotting in above the 650S and the Asia-only 625C the LT promises to be lighter, faster, more powerful and more pure. Plus, you can bet it’ll also be more expensive.

The LT in the car’s name stands for “Longtail” and is an homage to the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’.

In a release McLaren said that the 675LT, “will embody the ‘Longtail’ ethos with a focus on performance optimised aerodynamics, increased downforce, driver engagement, power and reduced weight.”

The flagship of the three model “Super Series” lineup, McLaren will only offer the 675LT as a coupe.

Full details and photos will be revealed when the car makes it’s world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March alongside the official reveal of the new P1 GTR.
