Subaru of America has introduced the 2017 BRZ Series Yellow special edition at a Subaru enthusiast event, Wicked Big Meet, which took place at the Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT.

The company will make only 500 units of this special edition coupe, which goes on sale in 2017.

Performance enhancements on the BRZ Series Yellow include friction reduction, a new aluminum intake manifold and a redesigned exhaust manifold. Those modest tweaks help boost engine output to 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque on the 2.0-liter Subaru Boxer engine, which is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.
