Maserati celebrated the milestone delivery of its 100,000th car at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show.

The special car is a 2017 Maserati Quattroporte GranSport, built at the automaker’s Grugliasco plant in Italy. The solid white exterior is complemented by an elegant tan interior, while 21-inch Titano wheels have been fitted to all four corners. Contrasting the pristine white exterior are bright red brake calipers.

China is now the Maserati Quattroporte’s largest market and is currently seeing a 91-percent year-on-year sales growth. Last year, the company set a record with 42,100 car deliveries. In China alone, it sold over 12,000 vehicles and revealed it currently has around 30,000 customers in China with 38 percent of whom are women.

Along with the milestone Quattroporte at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, Maserati is showing off the Levante SUV and Ghibli sedan.

“China is Maserati’s largest market for Quattroporte in the world,” said Reid Bigland, head of Maserati. “Our remarkable performance in China last year was a major contributor to our record-breaking global sales. China’s elites are increasingly enamoured by the Italian brand of luxury, exquisite craftsmanship and passion for driving that are poured into every Maserati.”
