The sporty BMW M2 is getting a murdered out Black Shadow Edition featuring carbon fiber and black accents.

With a 370-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the BMW M2 is arguably the company’s “purest M product today,” according to vice president of BMW M’s division, Dirk Hacker. Over 12,000 units have sold worldwide during its first full production year, making it BMW M’s most successful model in 2017.

Now, the company is offering a Black Shadow Edition with selected design features that aim to “further accentuate the top athlete’s powerful appearance.” Not surprisingly, the only exterior color choice is Sapphire Black metallic, while 19-inch matte black forged wheels with a Y-spoke design are found on all four corners.

Further complementing the look are exterior mirrors in a carbon finish, while the decorative grille for the M kidney and trim bars for the side panels are finished in high gloss black. The rear diffuser also receives a carbon finish, giving the M2 a race-inspired look. Lastly, the typical M double exhaust tips are done in black chrome.

BMW announced the M2 Black Shadow Edition will head to dealerships starting this April, so expect pricing to be announced closer to its launch.
