The folks over in Woking won’t be pleased – the McLaren Speedtail has leaked in full through social media.

Images of the spiritual successor to the F1 surfaced on Twitter today and were first posted by Jalopnik. They show the three-seat Speedtail in its entirety, revealing its front turbofan-style wheels, McLaren Senna-style split side windows and aerodynamically optimized front fascia.

The Speedtail will feature three abreast seating, just like the F1, and will feature a hybrid powertrain making more than 1,000 hp. McLaren is staying tight-lipped on details, but it’s likely that the Speedtail will feature its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Just 106 of them will be built (the F1 was also limited to 106 units) and each has already been claimed at a price of around $2.3 million USD.

Production of the Speedtail set to begin at the end of 2019, with each car being built exactly to the customer’s tastes through McLaren Special Operations. The vehicle will make its official debut tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for all the juicy details.
