Jaguar picked up a few big awards this week at the New York Auto Show with its I-Pace EV crossover, which won the World Car of the Year Award, Green Car of the Year Award, and the World Design of the Year Award. 

The New York Auto Show is underway, with some cars already debuting before the show even starts, but one of the biggest parts of the show is the World Car of the Year award, which goes to the Jaguar I-Pace this year.

At the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the World Car of the Year jury selected the Audi e-Tron, Jaguar I-Pace, and Volvo S60/V60 as the top three cars in the world, with the final winner to be announced next month at the New York Auto Show.

While the number of electric vehicles on sale today is growing, there still aren’t very many options for those who want a battery electric car or crossover.

What is the new Jaguar I-Pace?

A high-performance, pure electric Jaguar I-Pace SVR could be on the cards, and if Jaguar wanted to, they could make it do 0-60 mph in under two seconds.
