Mercedes SLS AMG GT, GL63 AMG Pricing Announced

Mercedes-Benz just took the wraps off of the SLS AMG Black Series down at the L.A. Auto Show, and also announced pricing for the SLS AMG GT and GL63 AMG, which will start at $199,500 and $116,925 respectively.

The coupe version of the SLS AMG GT has gone up in price by about $10,000, while the starting price for the covertible version has shot up by almost $20,000, to $206,000.

For 2013, the SLS AMG GT gains 20 hp, darkened headlights and taillights, red brake calipers, unique 10-spoke wheels, red seatbelts, red contrast stitching and Alcantara upholstery. It also gets a re-calibrated AMG speedshift DCT seven-speed transmission and modified AMG Adaptive Suspension.

A base MSRP of $116,925 has been announced for the GL63 AMG, which is one of the only seven passenger vehicles in the world that can also sprint to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The GL63 AMG will get its power from the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the G63, making 550 hp and 560 lb. ft. of torque.
