After months of teasers and anticipation, McLaren revealed the first model in its “Sport Series” at the 2015 New York Auto Show.

Called the McLaren 570S, the British automaker’s latest sports car is part of the company’s Sport Series but still uses a carbon fiber monocoque chassis paired to a 3.8-liter turbocharged V8 engine with 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Paired to the engine is a seven-speed sequential gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels while carbon ceramic brakes come standard as does a 0-62 MPH time of 3.2 seconds.

Since the 570S is expected to be driven more often than, say, the 650S, McLaren noted that the carbon fiber chassis has been revised to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. Pricing on the 2016 McLaren 570S has not been announced in the U.S., but reports have suggested it could be as low as $180,000.
