Californians Can Order a 2016 Chevrolet Volt

You can now order a 2016 Chevrolet Volt if you live in California.

Production for California deliveries is scheduled to begin in August, according to official dealer slides that made their way on the Internet. Other states that will begin accepting orders on the new Volt starting August 27 include Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont. Nationwide orders on the new 2016 Chevrolet Volt will begin in October with those vehicles to enter production in November.

The 2016 Chevrolet Volt will be priced from $33,995 including destination and before federal or state incentives. It will initially launch with seven exterior colors and five interior options with LT and LTZ trims. The more expensive LTZ trim includes features such as an upgraded audio system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, front and rear heated leather seats, wireless device charging and Automatic Park Assist. Options on the 2016 Chevrolet Volt include a navigation system on an eight-inch infotainment screen and safety assist suite.

The all-electric range on the 2016 Chevrolet Volt has been improved to 50 miles and the plug-in hybrid features a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 101 hp. Total system output on the Volt is 149 hp and 294 lb-ft of torque.
