Lamborghini is celebrating the iconic Miura’s 50th anniversary.

The Italian automaker has announced the Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage, a car that pays tribute to the Miura, which is widely considered the forerunner of all V12 Lamborghini exotics. The unique Aventador will be limited to 50 units in select markets worldwide, and Lamborghini claims that the majority of them are already sold.

The Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage was created by the company’s Ad Personam studio and reflects the colors and specifications of the original Miura. The upper body is finished in a single color that is complemented by the lower body and sill in a contrasting tone. Six of the most iconic solid and metallic colorways have been selected for the special edition Aventador including Rosso Arancio Miura (solid color), Verde Scandal (solid) and Blu Tahiti (metallic).

The model continues to pay homage to the Miura with 20- and 21-inch Dione rims available in either matte silver or gold. A metallic Miura badge can also be found on the side, while the Lamborghini logo on the rear has been finished in black. There is also a limited edition plate positioned inside the car that denominates the Aventador Miura Homage.

For interior options, two colors are available: full Nero Ade or Terra Emilia leather with tone-on-tone stitching and carbon fiber package as standard. Stitched into the upper part of the seats in gold or silver is the Miura 50th logo while the “Lamborghini” lettering has been embroidered on the leather dash.

Those attending the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed will be able to check out the Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage in person.
