2. Uh oh, Chevrolet’s Pickup Trucks Have a Mysterious Shake

Volkswagen wasn’t the only automaker that was at the center of attention this year. Late last year, AutoGuide.com ran a report detailing buffeting and vibration issues found in some full-size GM SUVs and we followed that up by reporting that Chevy’s pickup trucks also have a mysterious shake. GM acknowledged the problem, but at the time, it wasn’t deemed a safety issue, so the automaker wasn’t obligated to recall the trucks. It was, however, working on a way to correct the problem.
