It was just a matter of time, but someone has finally managed to make fun of Chevrolet’s ads.

The American automaker’s latest ad campaign involves “real people” checking out Chevrolet vehicles, and now YouTuber Zebra Corner has mocked it in the most hilarious way possible. The channel features several videos that make fun of ads that involve “real people, no actors” taglines and since we’re all about cars over here at AutoGuide.com, we’re glad they jumped on one of Chevrolet’s ads.

The target is the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Emojis ad from last year and it’s a fine piece of work. There is some language however, so make sure you have your headphones on if you’re in a public or work place.

You can watch the original 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Emojis commercial below.

I love it!! I've always suspected these Chevy ads were faked from the start. In fact, I'm fairly certain I've seen the bearded yuppie who hosts these ads on some other TV shows and/or films before. I just don't remember where right now. He's just another little-known actor, trying to eke out a living until he gets his "big break."

Whatever happened to American cars? How did Chevrolet went from making the awesome 1990's Caprice, and the Impala SS, to now making this ugly little thing that they call the Cruze, and other crappy stuff just like it? A few months ago I saw an early 2000's Cadillac DeVille, and even though that car was actually meant to be a mid size front wheel drive vehicle, it was extremely beautiful, specially compared to anything that is made today. The proportions on it were done just right for an American car of any size, unlike those ugly Chrysler 300's, with their huge opened wheel wells, the huge ugly rims, and those trunks that look like they were chopped in half. The design of those things is just weird, and ugly. The length of the trunk does not match with the rest of the vehicle, and it gives it an ugly weird looking shape. I own a 1989 Cadillac Brougham, and I wouldn't trade it for anything that's made today. But, if the American car companies ever go back to making real American cars that are designed in the same size of the 1990's Chevy Caprice, I might consider buying one of those. But, the Chevy Cruze is a joke. A really bad joke, just like everything else that's made today. American car companies need to go back to making American cars big(meaning great) again.
