Jaguar F-Pace SVR Resurfaces for Hot Weather Testing

While other automakers are braving harsh, snowy conditions, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR is enjoying the sun in Spain.

Spy photographers first caught the Jaguar F-Pace SVR testing on the Nurburgring last September and now it has resurfaced for hot weather testing in Spain. The Jaguar F-Pace is off to a hot start in the luxury SUV segment, but its most powerful version offers just 380 horsepower. While that’s more than enough for the average car owner, it leaves the F-Pace without a competitor against high-performance SUVs like the BMW X5 M with 567 hp.

This is where the Jaguar F-Pace SVR comes into play. Even though Jaguar is trying to hide the SVR variant under plenty of camouflage, you can tell the front bumper will be more aggressive with larger air intake openings. If you look carefully at the rear, you’ll see a quad exhaust setup peeking out from behind the camouflage.

The big question remains whether the automaker will use the same supercharged V8 engine with 575 hp found in the F-Type SVR, or if it will upgrade the V6 engine to deliver around 500 hp.
