Chevrolet’s subcompact SUV gets updated for the 2024 model year.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer has been a solid seller in the subcompact SUV class. Yet since its introduction in 2020 as a 2021 model-year vehicle, the Trailblazer has stayed mostly unchanged. Now, Chevy has updated the Trailblazer, with some big changes on the exterior and interior.

This facelift sees the addition of a restyled front fascia. The daytime running lights housed near the hood look a little slimmer and longer. The chrome grille insert has been reshaped, with whisker-like fangs that sink down to the low-mounted headlights. This is a similar look to the new Chevrolet Trax. The rear of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer has new taillights, but it appears that the bumper cover itself is the same as before. The RS model now includes blacked-out trim and a new 19-inch wheel design that we haven’t seen before on the Trailblazer.

The biggest change for the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is its interior. The dashboard has been restyled, featuring a twin-screen setup not unlike what we’ve seen in both the forthcoming Chevy Trax and Silverado EV. The infotainment screen measures 11”, and the gauge cluster is 8”.

Pricing hasn’t been released, but all Trailblazers now come standard with push-button start, cruise control, and a rear HD camera. Otherwise, the Trailblazer gets the same 1.2-liter or 1.3-liter turbocharged engines, mated to a CVT in FWD guise, or 9-speed automatic in AWD models. Given the Chevy Trax’s $21,495 base price, we’d expect the Trailblazer to rise from its $22,100 base price, especially since it now has more standard equipment.
