Buick has made something of a late-career renaissance out of being where the other attainable premium automakers simply aren’t.

When the Buick Avista concept debuted about a year ago, the automotive community was stunned and confused as to how such a beautiful car was wearing a Buick badge.

Automakers have taken a lot of liberties and have become very creative with how they classify cars.

The Buick Regal has been completely overhauled from rockers to roof for 2018, gaining a three-inch longer wheelbase and losing some 200 pounds in the process while offering a wide range of new technologies. But none of this is the biggest news for this tri-shield offering.

Audi has taken the wraps off its second-generation A5 and S5 Sportback models, which are rumored to be making their way to the U.S. market this time around. 

When it comes to cars, pretty much all automotive journalists lust after diesel-powered, rear-wheel-drive station wagons with manual transmissions. Believe it or not, Audi is happy to answer the call… sort of.

North Americans’ choices with the 2014 Audi A3 will be limited to the sedan, but that doesn’t mean other parts of the world have to be left out of the fun.

Even though this generation’s Audi A1 won’t be making it to North America, Audi has admitted that they’re considering launching the next-generation to us Americans. Nonetheless we have another variation to maybe look forward to, a five-door Sportback version of the Audi A1.

According to a recent report by Car and Driver, Audi will be offering a diesel option for the soon to be released 2012 S6 and S7 Sportback models.

Audi released all the information on the new V10-powered R8 months ago but until now they have never shown the vehicle – to the press or anyone else for that matter.
